Oykos campaign: Hunks
Oykos, the Danone-owned luxury yogurt brand, is launching a new digital campaign to celebrate the tastiness of men across the UK which involves a competition to find the UK’s ‘everyday hunks’ and have them immortalised as dessert spoons.
The Greek-style yogurt brand, which uses the strapline ‘ladies who luxury’, is inviting the British public to nominate the hunks in their lives to become real-life models for the spoons. The campaign was planned after Oykos research revealed British women prefer a ‘chubby hubby’ over a traditional Adonis body type.
Twelve 'hunks' will be chosen (four by public vote and eight by Amanda Holden, star of the 2012 Oykos TV launch ad). These 12 will then have their pictures posted on the Oykos site, with the public invited to vote for their favourite.
The four eventual winners will have their bodies scanned and used as templates to create the spoons, which will be unveiled in July 2014 for consumers across the UK to win in another competition.
The four winning hunks, and the people who nominated them, will also win a spa package.
